We believe that Bishopshalt School is above all else a place for learning and our aim in the classroom is for all students to reach their full potential.  This can only be achieved in a school where there are high expectations both in terms of behaviour and standards of work.

At the heart of our curriculum is a strong emphasis on learning and teaching.  We want our students to be involved, inspired and curious about the world around them.  Our broad and balanced curriculum offers both traditional academic subjects and a range of applied learning courses so that all our studens are able to access learning and learning experiences.  A range of different learning and teaching styles is promoted and we are committed to creativitiy and innovation in order to bring the curriculum to life.

Our Specialist Status in Music and the Performing Arts further supports and enhances the curriculum.
