Curriculum

 

KS3                       
All KS3 pupils study French for five hours per fortnight. In Year 8 & 9 our top set students also study German.
 
KS4                      
Pupils can choose to study French and / or German at GCSE level.               
 
KS5                      
We currently offer AS French and  A2 French. These courses are open to students with grade A*- B achieved at higher level in all four tiers at GCSE.
 

Extra-Curricular Activities

 

Year 7 French Club:
This club is run by our French assistant every Thursday in room 24 from 12.40pm until 1.10pm.
 
Trips abroad:         
Every year we run a variety of trips to Europe. In recent years these have included:
 
  • Year 7  - Day trip to Calais
  • Year 7  -  Four day trip to Paris and the surrounding areas
  • KS4  - Six day trip to France, Germany and Luxembourg
