Creating a Chinese Dragon1

A group of Y7 students studied Chinese culture, inparticular the Chinese Dragon. They investigated various dragon images and learned how to create the texture and shape of a dragon. 

All students produced a number of different dragon designs before deciding on which design to make as a small model.

The students then assisted with the creation of the large dragon which was used within Dance to create a performance for the Chinese New Year.  to view the video please see the Dance Curriculum.
