Year 10 & Year 12 Work Experience

At Bishopshalt School we greatly value the benefit of work experience for our pupils as it gives them an advantage when applying for sixth form, college, university, apprenticeships or employment. Introducing students to the world of work enhances their understanding of the work environment, supports career exploration and helps to prepare them for employment. 

Year 10: pupils will take part in five days work experience from 13th to 17th May 2024

Year 12: pupils will take part in five days work experience from 8th to 12th July 2024

In addition to school supported work experience pupils are encouraged to apply for virtual or in-person placements during the school holidays to further support their career exploration. Springpod, Speakers for Schools & Young Professionals all offer employer led opportunities.
