Welcome Back to the New "Virtual" Term

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to the new term.  We really hope that you were able to enjoy the Easter holiday and that you and your family are well.

As we have returned to term, online lessons and virtual learning has resumed for Year 7, 8,9,10 and Year 12 students.  We thank you for your continued support in ensuring your children engage with the material that Bishopshalt staff are providing.  Please continue to liaise with your child's Head of Year, if there are any issues preventing engagement with the work we are providing.  Their contact details can be found on the COVID-19 School Closure Information page.

Throughout this challenging period, Bishopshalt has been working hard to support you.  Beyond the academic work we are setting, we have also been providing the Bishopshalt Challenges.  I have thoroughly enjoyed watching and taking part in these; I encourage you and your family to get involved.  The school website has our Better Bishopshalt Notices, if you would like to peruse the work that has been taking.

Over the course of this term, we will continue to support the community to the best of our ability.  We will of course notify you all as soon as we know of alterations to the current situation.  When we are able to return to school we will endeavour to ensure that the transition back to normality is as smooth as possible for all of our wonderful students.

Warm regards,

Mr McGillicuddy, Headteacher
