Our first Arts Festival took place on 29, 30 and 1 July 2005. The Festival involved all pupils in Key Stage 3 and gave them the opportunity to visit museums, art galleries, performance training establishment and a west end show. A day of workshops was held at the School in dance, music and art, run by specialist art practitioners.
Taking place on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 June 2008 for all Key Stage 3 students, our second Arts Festival gave students the choice of attending one west end musical and four workshops from a list of 12. The workshops were provided by an external company who supplied professional art practitioners in areas such as African drumming, hip hop, rock, pop and chart singing, street dancing etc.
Our third Arts Festival took place on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 July 2011 for all Key Stage 3 students. It took a similar shape to the 2008 Arts Festival, we provided students with a choice of three West End shows to see and a selection of workshops ranging from digital photography, samba drumming and Bollywood dancing.
Another extremely successful event which was thoroughly enjoyed, took place on Wednesday 2 July and Thursday 3 July 2014 for all Key Stage 3 and Year 12 students.
The fifth Arts Festival took place on 28 and 29 June for all KS3 and Year 12 students.
