The English department is a team of 11 staff, 9 full time and 2 part time. We are a young, enthusiastic team who are committed to offering students a wide range of methods to fully engage students across all Key Stages. At the heart of everything we do is to instil a love and appreciation for all types of English – from literature to creative writing, modern communications to speaking and listening, our aim is for students to explore and appreciate English for the wide topic that it is in today’s society, whilst realising that wherever you go, English will always be a part of you.
So it's National Video Game Day. 1) How ON EARTH did I not know this? 2) Well I know what to do for the rest of the evening. Using a range of language devices to describe that scene. Obviously. https://t.co/Nkhen9DWWb
Kitten update (in case anyone was curious): all three have found loving homes and have settled in nicely. The mum is still proving elusive, but we are trying to, at the very least, make sure she is healthy!
Is it a normal Thursday? No, no, no, no, no. Today is the day KS3 get nervous. Today is the day the English department are expectant. Today is the day Mr. Wood gets savage with a bell. Today... is Spelling Bee Day. Good luck people! https://t.co/IKbztpLwtA
@Init1972 Will most certainly do!
So last week we found three kittens in the roof above the English corridor (as you do). Yesterday they were rescued. Tried to get mum but she ran away. They're still a bit scared, but all are thankfully healthy. And unbelievably CUUUUUUUUTE! https://t.co/X0auYQyHe3
