Further information

Students will be following the new AQA syllabus through which they are offered the opportunity to engage with a diverse selection of texts, each aiming to challenge and stretch their analytical and interpretive abilities in preparation for the four overarching examinations. Over the course of KS4, students will be given the opportunity to monitor their progression and level of attainment by consistently reflecting on examination style responses, sharing and reflecting vocally their perspectives with peers, and producing pieces that directly address the examination objectives. Extracurricular visits to events such as 'Poetry Live!' and 'An Inspector Calls' (live) enable the students at KS4 to fully indulge in the literary materials they study, its language and textual enjoyment. |
