Learning for Life

At Bishopshalt the Learning for Life programme aims to promote the moral, cultural, mental and physical development of each pupil as an individual at Bishopshalt School. It prepares the pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life and enables them to develop as citizens.

All pupils throughout the school have Learning for Life lessons for one hour every two weeks, taught by their Form Tutor.
  
In addition to these specific lessons, many of the issues involved are cross curricular in nature and will also be covered in other subject areas. The teaching of Learning for Life is approached through four overlapping themes as well as reflecting the Better Bishopshalter ethos:
